Take a journey through the alternate dimensions of New York, meeting the strange and fantastic creatures that live there! As soon as you put on your headphones, the adventure throughout the streets of New York begins. Along your journey, you will come face to face with actors portraying the creatures of this parallel universe. Be careful though, there's no telling what lies in the deeper dimensions!

things you need to know before you start
What is the Upside-Down New York? Is it an escape room or a scavenger hunt?
It is neither. Upside-Down New York is an immersive theatrical journey. As your guide leads you through the streets of New York, you will wear headphones, immersing you in the story all around you. Along the way, you will complete challenges with the rest of the group.
Is the Promenade held in the streets or an enclosed building?
In the streets of Manhattan. Throughout the show, our staff will guide you through the route.
How many adults should there be in the group?
We require at least 1 adult for every 2 kids. We will be crossing roads and walking around the city. There will only be a single staff member leading the group.
Where exactly does the Promenade take place?
The action takes place in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan.
Can I book a birthday party for my child without parents participating?
Yes, you can. An extra $150 will be added to the appointment for additional group guides. Please call us before booking this option.
Can a group of adults participate without kids?
Certainly! This is a perfect opportunity to throw off inhibitions, and see New York City through an entirely different lens.
Is there a place where I can leave my things?
Unfortunately, we do not have lockers on the premises. Leave any unnecessary items at home (or in your hotel room) because this is a very active walk.
Is the Promenade a private experience?
When you purchase 6+ tickets, your adventure will be private. Otherwise, you share this journey with strangers.
